Grunge Redux
 My obsession with wearing leather and lace stems from my club scene days. I love to wear   She turned me on to flats and boots for walking. We put together our own look. Style isn’t about age or how much money or prestige you have.  It’s a personal thing finding what looks good on you and a style that gives you confidence. Fashion is embracing the modern woman with the nineties influence. Fabrics are layered with mixed prints. Easy wearable clothes go from day to evening. Shoes are made for walking. It’s all about easy comfortable clothes we can live in.
 To Get the Look:
Think layering comfortable clothes in natural fabrics. Wear your boyfriend’s wife beater T-shirt over a dress. Wrap up in a slouchy cardigan over a floral cotton frock. Mix up the fabrics with a lace skirt and a flannel shirt. Shop for soft washed fabrics you can wear all day. Flat shoes and biker boots give your look a modern edge. Glam it up with a faux fur lined trench coat over a baby doll dress.

My girlfriend whom I met in a beauty salon I had gone to for private instruction in haircutting had so much style and so little money. Bed Head.
 The anti-do reigned supreme for summer.  Color blocking made roots look chic. Keep them darker than your hair: you want to make a statement, not look like you need a touch up.  Long layers give hair a relaxed look. Have it cut blunt with a razor to give fine hair texture. For summer the cut is just above or resting on the shoulder. Longer hair, longer layers will make your hair look thicker.  Load your hair with product to get the look.
