Trending Now: Hair for Fall
An eclectic mix of real and faux hair set the trends for the Autumn/Winter season.  We saw the Insta-bang at Pucci, the modern comb-over at Ribiero and The Row, braids, pony tails and the return to lady like glamour at Bottega Veneta and Diane Von Furstenberg. The stand out was the braided faux hawk at Fendi. It was a season of fun and creativity along with the million dollar grunge look and the beautiful earrings from Oscar de la Renta and Rochas.
The Look:
Seen at Bottega Veneta. Rich girl hair color in natural hues gave hair star appeal. Like the starlets Marlene Dietrich and Hedy Lamar luscious locks came in the shades of strawberry, butter, champagne and walnut. Yummy! It’s all about taking the trend and making it work for you.
The current hair color techniques Ombre and Color Blocking can work magic to make thin hair look thicker. Using the Ombre technique in natural tones, the colors from the Runway this season can produce some stunning results. The same goes for color blocking.  Runway models have sexy examples of natural Ombre tones. The art of choosing hair color to make fine and thin hair thicker is in the shade selection. Grey hair that is fine and thin often times shows the scalp.  Color blocking in natural shades can make the scalp disappear and make  hair look thicker. To Get The Look: Select color with the deeper shade at the scalp and lighter through the shaft and ends.

The Face of Fall
OMG. If Botticelli had Insta Gram.  Painterly make-up returns us to glamour this season. Luscious lips and arched brows designed by Pat McGrath for Bottega Veneta Autumn/ Winter Collection. The Look: Powder your face this season. Matte complexions look modern and youthful. To give the eyes a little bit of sexiness McGrath used a minimal dusting of brown-black shadow on the lids, brown mascara on the lashes and lightly filled in the brows. Easy does it, less is more.
